GCSE Science revision — Combined and Triple

If you search “GCSE Science”, you usually mean Combined Science (two grades) or Triple (separate Biology, Chemistry and Physics). ReviseEasy covers both. Shared topics keep the same progress, so Triple students are not revising Combined twice.

Combined or Triple?

Combined Science is six papers (two per science on AQA Trilogy / Edexcel Combined). You get two GCSE grades. Triple is two longer papers per science and extra topics (kidney, titrations, space physics, and more).

How to revise Science (not just watch videos)

Use the same loop in every subject: learn the method, try an exam-style question, get feedback, then fix the mistake. Notes-only revision is what most students already do — it is not what moves a grade.

Cognito and YouTube are excellent for a first explanation. The mark is won when you can do the calculation, write the required-practical method, and apply the idea in an unfamiliar context. That is what the topic questions are for.

Frequently asked questions

Is Combined Science the same as Double Award?

In England, Combined Science (Trilogy-style) is the usual double award: six papers, two grades. Some centres use different packaging — check your entry code.

Can Triple students use Combined pages?

Yes. Shared topics are tagged for both. Triple-only extras live on the Biology, Chemistry and Physics hubs.

Do you cover required practicals?

Yes, as skills and exam-style checks. You still need the practicals your school actually ran — the paper will assume those methods.
